I ordered these arm sleeves for my son and his 6U rec league baseball team. The kids, all 5 and 6 years old, love them and regularly comment about how the sleeves are “so cool!”. While the sleeves are slightly loose on most of the kids, they still fit well enough for them to wear during games. For reference, my son’s arm measures 16 inches from shoulder to wrist. The sleeve didn’t quite reach his shoulder, but it did stretch comfortably to his wrist. It’s worth mentioning that the product images show the sleeves being worn by teenagers and young adults; I don’t think these would fit anyone older than about 10 years old, even though they’re marketed as a large size. If you’re buying for older kids or adults, this is something to keep in mind.The design of the arm sleeves is vibrant and looks great, as long as they aren’t stretched too much. When stretched, white lines appear in the pattern, and the red laces can look pink from a distance. The elastic material feels similar to compression sleeves I’ve used, though it’s not quite the same. The stretch is good, but the single stitching at the ends of the sleeves, along with a few loose threads, raises concerns about long-term durability. Given that the kids will be running, sliding, throwing, and batting with these sleeves on during multiple games a week for the next four months, I’m not sure how well they’ll hold up.Out of curiosity, I tried pulling one over my own arm and immediately heard threads popping. I decided not to push it (or pull it in this case), as I didn’t want to risk tearing one and leaving a player without a sleeve. For context, we have 12 players (one sleeve per player), and it was important to me that every kid felt included.Overall, these six pairs of arm sleeves (12 sleeves total) are a great deal at $16.99. Just keep in mind that they’re very small and will primarily fit kids up to about 10 years old. The kids on our team love them, and they add a fun touch to their uniforms.
